Conservation & Environment Action Team

 

Our Conservation & Environment Action Team 2025 Objectives:

  • To support the two National Parks in protecting the environment, and the safety of back-country users.

  • Co-host future leaders in collaborative learning experiences in Waterton and Glacier National Parks.

  • To engage diverse communities and demographics in conservation and environmental awareness and initiatives. Further purposeful and creative collaboration with Rotary Clubs, Rotary Youth Leadership, Rotary Interact, Youth, Indigenous Peoples, Crown Managers Partnership, Continental Divide Trail, Great Divide Trail, Canadian Parks Collective, Wildsight,  Glacier Institute, Mountain Muskox Mentorship, Soul of Miistaki, Ktunaxa Nation, Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, Tobacco Plains Band, Treaty 7, Nature Conservancy of Canada, Alpine Club of Canada, RECCO, Search and Rescue, other WGIPPA Action Teams, and other organizations.
